The True Meaning Of Christmas

​John 3:16 & 17 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."

The real Christmas story is the story of God becoming a human being in the Person of Jesus Christ- Because He Loves Us.  Why does God love us so much?  Because God is Love (1 John 4:8). God loved His own and provided a way—the only Way—for us to spend eternity with Him. He gave His only Son to take our punishment for our sins.
 
It’s Jesus that gives meaning to Christmas. It’s Jesus who was God in flesh, perfect, pure, holy, and who died on the cross and rose from the dead. Jesus is the one who gives the true meaning to Christmas, which is LOVE. So Christmas calls us to honor, respect and worship His name. Philippians 2:11 says that ALL will confess that ‘Jesus is Lord’.
 
So live loudly for Jesus and may the joy and love of this Christmas season be with you and your family throughout the New Year.
