Memorial Day- The day to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.
Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. We are so grateful to those who have given their life in military service for this great country. We also honor those family members who have been left behind to continue life without their loved ones. As we celebrate today, let's carry a grateful heart for this country that we get to call home.
