Join Leif & Jennifer Hetland, Heidi Baker and David Wagner at The Rock Church in Castle Rock, Colorado from January 25-27, 2018!
The convergence of power, love and wisdom as a lifestyle enables us to influence the world. The embodiment of love is the key to moving in power and wisdom; we can only operate in power and wisdom to the extent we embody love. Convergence will engage kingdom principles and thinking to release understanding and authority to change culture and nations. This event will lay a biblical foundation for operating in power, love and wisdom, present a transformational mindset to respond to personal situations and empower people with an upgrade in a convergent lifestyle. This conference is hosted by Global Mission Awareness with the help of The Rock Church & BridgeWay Church. To view the schedule and purchase tickets visit website

There were so many things I feel like I learned growing up in church. From going to Sunday school to learn about Moses, Noah and King David to being in Royal Rangers (Christian Boy Scouts) and memorizing my first CHAPTER of the Bible (Psalms 23) that I have needed to stand on even to this day in my life when trouble hits my life. I can remember at each stage of life the constant reminder that it was extremely important to share my faith with as many people as possible. That I could be the key to introducing someone to Jesus and having their lives changed forever! I know the reason why I decided to go into full time ministry was because of the great men and women of God who have been in my life and helped me become the person I am today.
One thing I think I missed growing up was something even more important than sharing my faith. I know that sounds like a terrible statement when the primary reason we are on this earth is to help people who don’t know Jesus be introduced to him, but it is something that goes right along with that principle. It is the overwhelming power of LISTENING. As Christians we are taught that the MOST important thing in our religious life is sharing our faith. The issue is that unless people feel heard they will probably not REALLY hear what you are trying to say to them. You can feel like you are doing your “Christian duty” and wondering why the person you are trying to talk to is so gripped by the devil and not listening to what you are saying. (I say that humorously, but you get the point) Listening to people is actually meeting a need. Every person has a desire to feel like they are heard no matter if it is in a relationship, a family or work environment. We want to know that our feelings are being considered. Please always remember that listening to someone, who may not believe the same things you do, is not justifying what they may be doing that is wrong or destructive to them. Actually, they may not think what they are doing is wrong even if it doesn’t line up with the Bible but when you intentionally listen to them you are showing that you care. Listening opens doors that eloquent religious speech can never access. Today, think about all the people you are in relationship with and if they would consider you someone who cares about them. Not just the family or people you like but everyone. Now think about the people that God will put in your path today and not about how you are going to SHARE Jesus but how you are going to listen to them and then share answers to their need. This is what Jesus did and we need to follow His example in life. Have a great week and praying that you develop your listening skills as much as your ability to share your testimony. They are both very important and must work in unison if we are to be truly and fully like Christ to the people we encounter in life! Our team members here are Rocky Mountain CTN are so grateful that we get to distribute the uncompromising, powerful, loving, alive message of Jesus Christ on a daily basis and we are so very thankful for our viewers and those that uplift us in prayer and financially support what we do!
THANK YOU, FROM ALL OF US! Your “No’s” in Life Could be Leading to your Best “Yes”
Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength...” My dad will have back surgery in the next couple of weeks and it has been quite a journey. His back has been bothering him since the beginning of the year and he is just now getting in to be seen by a doctor. This has not been without him checking with doctors all around the country and having them all say “no” more times than he could count. I know it has been a very stressful situation wondering if he will have full mobility again from the problem in his back. When I would talk with my dad he would always share with me that his perception of the surgery he needed was a simple laser procedure and would take less than 20 minutes. He had an MRI and other imaging of his condition that he showed to many doctors and facilities including a laser spine institute that wanted $20,000 to do the surgery. All of which told him no for whatever reason. But God knew why. The doctor that finally said yes didn’t just trust the imaging he received from my dad but put him through an additional battery of tests to check and see what was fully going on with his spine. The doctor found out exactly what was wrong and is going to do the surgery he needed which would not have happened if any of the other doctors had taken his case. The reason why I share this story is to encourage you that all the “no’s” in your life can actually be leading you to the ultimate “yes” that is exactly what you need. My dad is going to be getting the best care from the right doctor only because all the other physicians said no. In your life, is there something that you are believing for or maybe falsely striving for that you need to allow God to open a door instead of trying to “pick the locks” of life? Maybe it is in a relationship or maybe it is in finances. You can see things in the physical that you are trying to manipulate instead of praying and asking God to allow the right connections for the right moment. Maybe you are believing something for yourself that God doesn’t even want for you but you think it is a matter of life or death. NEVER forget that Jesus loves you and wants the best for you but patience is as much a part of the process with God as the right obedient actions. In fact, patience is the MOST important action when it comes to following God. So be encouraged today and know that God has great things in store for you. When you learn to wait on him and step out in obedience when HE says move and not just when you feel like moving you are operating in the highest level of obedience. We are praying for you and believing for God's BEST for your situation! Brian GM Rocky Mountain CTN We have a special next week that is not to be missed:

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. One of the great deceptions of the time we now live in is to find a “usable” relationship with the devil. This may sound strange, but how pervasive has the message of just living a more positive life and to only “be a positive influence in the community around you” become the primary cry of Christianity? Positivity is not exclusive to Godliness and living like Jesus. You can be a positive person and not have a personal relationship with Jesus. Of course, Jesus was positive in his message when speaking about reaching the world but that was a RESULT of the relationship with God. The true life of a believer is so much more than just living to enjoy as much as you can on this earth with a focus only on self but still making it to heaven. If the main message is not RESIST the devil and make him flee from your life with a focus on helping others see that truth, then we are missing the point. Let’s start with the entire purpose of the devil. It is not to simply be a “hassle” but to completely, totally and utterly destroy every cell and atom of every person on this earth. When we realize just how much the devil hates us, we need to live a life in direct accordance with that vehement. It shifts our thinking from “how much can I indulge my flesh in life” to “my FIRST priority today is to be a piece of the bridge for people who don’t know Jesus yet.” Churches today don’t talk a lot about hell maybe because they think it’s an archaic version of the gospel that people think is corny, but the Bible very clearly outlines the results of not accepting Jesus and his forgiveness. The fact is that as much as Jesus loves us, the devil hates us. We can have NO usable relationship with the devil besides reminding him of his fate and that he has NO authority in our lives. When we understand that he is primarily a devourer then we will be focused on shutting his mouth and opening people’s eyes to the awesome power and glorious love of Jesus. 5pm MT
