This morning I was listening to Pastor Lawson Purdue preaching on his program Grace For Today, one of our programs that play here on Rocky Mountain CTN each day at 9:30am, and he made a comment that just made sense and encouraged me at the same time.
He was teaching about Psalms 103:12 - "as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us" He made a comment about the earth and travel considering north, south east and west. If you travel North around the earth you will eventually end up going South. But if you travel east or west you can travel that direction forever! Then I looked at the verse previous in Psalms 103:11 that says, "For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him;" If we were to travel on a rocket and leave the earth’s atmosphere into space, we would just continue to float further and further away. The same is true with God and his GREAT love for us that just continues and goes on and on. I have read these verses in Psalms since I was a kid in church and heard pastors talk about the love of God and the removal of our sins. But this is the first time I recognized the fact of how far the East is from the West and the removal of transgressions in my life. The only way we can catch up with our past is if we go pursue it with our actions. Today, live in victory and realize just how far removed your sins, and the things you have done in your past, are to the new creation you become when you give God total control of your life!

Internationally, Nationally, in some family situations, in some business situations, etc... Here are the things we have determined in our heart to do: *Refuse to be overwhelmed by what we SEE *Lean on the word of God. It is our sword! *Spend time in worship and listening, HE will give you answers that you need. *Thank God for the good things that you KNOW Romans 8:28 "And we KNOW that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose" Romans 8:35 says that NOTHING can separate us from the Love of God! Psalms 84:11 "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Do some digging into the word so that your prayers can reach their targets and be sharper than any two edged sword. The only way the enemy is defeated is by the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony and the Word of God. We don't want to see our country, states, families and homes in ruins because we didn't do our part. I am tired of seeing the aftermath of the devil, how about you? Pray on Prayer Warriors! (And don't forget the Joy of the Lord is your strength) This is a free event that fills up quickly so reserve your spot at the link below!

Invite your friends and get on your calendar next Friday night, July 27th at 7pm Bridgeway Church 5201 E. Warren Ave. Denver, CO 80222 SEE YOU THERE! Romans 15:13 is a wonderful prayer that Paul wants every believer to experience. When you read a verse like that, you must ask yourself, “Does that verse even come close to describing me? Can I honestly say that my life is filled with all joy and peace in believing? Do I abound in hope?” And, since we all tend to give ourselves the benefit of a doubt in these matters, I need to ask, “Would my family or good friends describe me as being filled with all
joy and peace in believing and abounding in hope?” To varying degrees we all fall short of experiencing that verse and so we all can benefit by thinking about what it means and how we can grow in these qualities. I can’t imagine anyone saying, “I’m not interested in having joy and peace. I don’t want to abound in hope.” We all want and need these qualities, and yet even among believers, very few can legitimately claim to be filled with all joy and peace and to be abounding in hope. (Excerpt from Steven J. Cole @ Bible.org-Lesson 101: Abounding in Hope) So the question I ask myself is "What thinking do I need to change or submit to Christ that will put me in a place that this truly describes me? I bet if you petition Holy Spirit to help you with this, He will give you all the help you need to bear these fruits. Be Blessed!
